Here is our list of annual fundraisers. As with all of our fundraising efforts we try our best to curb expense to ensure the money raised from each event goes directly to our MARC program. To do that we ask for private and business sponsors to help defray the costs of each event. In return for a sponsorship, you or your business logo will then be included in all advertising associated with the event you have sponsored. Annual Keys Federal ReMARCable Table Top Christmas Tree Auction Tuesday, November 29th!
You know the holiday season has arrived when the Monroe Association for ReMARCable Citizens (MARC) announces that its Keys Federal Table Top Christmas Tree Auction is ready to go. Tuesday, November 29th, 2017 previews at 5pm, auction at 7pm in the Key West Westin Resort and Marina Ballroom 20 beautifully decorated Fraser Fur trees will go to the highest bidder. The trees, all between 3 ½ to 4 ½ feet tall, will be decorated by local businesses, private residents and artists. To sponsor a tree and decorated yourself ($100) or to sponsor a tree and have MARC find a decorator for you ($250) call Gordon Ross at 305-294-9526 ext. 25.
MARC 2018, 24th Annual Master Chefs Classic - Sunday, Jannaury 28th, 2018The ever-popular Master Chefs Classic will celebrate its 24th anniversary on January 28th, 2018. 24 years of fabulous food and beverages - all Key West style, to support the MARC House and their life services for adults with intellectual disabilities in Monroe County. 29th Annual Al Flutie Over The Hill Sailfish Rip Off TournamentOn Tuesday, 23rd, 2018, captains will fire up their engines to take to the seas for this annual event in honor of Capt Al Flutie and helping raise funds for "Catch The Cure" for Cystic Fibrosis and the Monroe Association for ReMARCable Citizens (MARC) who provide life services for Monroe County's adult intellectually disabled residents. Headquartered at the famous Ocean View Pub and Inn on Islamorada, Owner Gary Dunn and OV manager Larz's makes this annual event a huge hit with amazing food, great drinks and amazing silents auction and raffle. The Captains meeting is held on Monday, January 22nd at the OV with great appetizers and the rules and regulations for the tournament reviewed for all the Captains. The ReMARCable Table Top Christmas Tree AuctionThis annual fun filled event on Tuesday, November 29th at the Westin Resort and Marina Ballroom marks the beginning of the Key West Holiday Season with locals residents and businesses alike sponsoring and decorating incredible table top Christmas Trees for auction. Tree Previews begin at 5pm and the auction begins at 7pm. A $10 donation gives you a bidding paddle and entered into a door raffle. The crowd gathers early in The Westin Resort and Marina Ballroom to preview the trees and decide on their choice before the bidding begins. Winner bidders receive their trees that very evening wrapped and delivered to their home. To sponsor a tree as a private resident or business call Gordon Ross at 305-294-9526 ext. 25. Tree Sponsorship is $100 plus your decorations. Decorate your own tree, have a friend help you, or ask the MARC family to find a decorator for you ($200 per sponsorship to help purchase decorations if MARC is to find you a decorator).This amazing evening is fun, fast and done early making it the perfect season fundraising event to start off your holiday season. ReMARCable Pumpkin PatchEvery year the MARC pumpkin patch magically appears for young and old to enjoy at 1401 Seminary Street in the back of the MARC plant store where we sell the Christmas Trees! Bring the kids and pick out amazing gourd and pumpkins of all kinds!THIS YEAR the patch opens on Sunday, October 1st and stays open until October 31st or when the last pumpkin is sold.
